Our Sustainable Approach
-
SUSTAINABILITY AS OUR CORE VALUE
We consider that a brand without a core value is like a boat without any course. Le Capsole ’s core value is the sustainability and timeless. We know we are far from perfect, but we are trying to improve everyday with effort, self-criticism and learning from the feedback of our precious customers.
Thanks to science, we as humans have enough information to realize that plastic is one of the main causes of pollution and climate change. That is why we want to change the fashion industry by giving an example in this matter.
We are constantly striving for plastic free garments and make sure that all our fabrics are from natural resources.
This is the reason why we always try to use fabrics with the highest environmental standards.

BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS FOR COTTON FARMERS
Organic cotton creates healthier and improved working conditions for the farmers as it is more regulated, and therefore, fairly traded.
Linen
Linen is one of the most sustainable fabrics and it is made from the flax plant that grows especially well in Northern Europe. Its main benefits are the following:
- Requires few resources and water to grow and produce.
- Can be grown without pesticides and chemicals
- Durability
- Biodegradability
Tencel / Lyocell
Lyocell is a biodegradable textile made from cellulose from wood pulp (obtained from Eucalyptus, Oak and Birch trees). It is only obtained from well-managed forests, making it a fantastic source of renewable fiber. Moreover, the cultivation of these trees requires no irrigation or pesticide use.
Its main benefits are durability, elasticity, high resistance to wrinkles, effective antibacterial and sustainable.
Tencel is the trademark version of Lyocell and the one we are using for our garment, because Tencel uses certified wood focusing on sustainability.
